Dubai Food Festival 2015 Edition
This year’s Dubai Food festival will be as big as ever, so plan your visit to the UAE to enjoy a pleasant and exciting break away from Doha. The event, which kicks off on the 6th of February and carries on till the end of the month, will promote the creativity and multicultural nature of Dubai’s dining offering. The flavours of over 200 Nationality will be highlighted and promoted: from five-star gourmet venues to cafes and restaurants for all budgets will participate to this inspiring festival to celebrate their culture and traditions.
The Emirati cuisine in particular will pay a big role in this year’s edition in order to pay homage to home-grown cuisine, Chefs and up-and-coming dining concepts. Multi-cultural dining and street food concept will also be key for the event as they represent great value for the community.
International Celebrity Chefs and Restaurants will bring their expertise to Dubai and take part in various activities and promotions. Don’t miss your chance to see them live and taste their unique food too. Chef Silwena Rowe, from the BBC’s ‘Saturday Kithen’ show and Palestinian Manal Al-Alem, one of the most prominent Chefs in the Arabic community, will be on hand to share their secrets and cooking tips with the crowd along many more top Chefs from all over the globe.
An array of pop up restaurants and fab activities will be on offer during the 23-day programme, so join the fun! Last year’s popular Beach Canteen will return for the full length of this year’s Festival at the Kite Beach in Jumeirah. Head down there to experience a unique beach dining experience: the nine delicious home-grown restaurant concepts and celebrity chef pop-ups will be on offer along local bands, DJs, children’s activities and beach sports.
