Don't be surprised if you see super fast sports cars driving across the beaches of Dubai in the near future.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has reportedly ordered no fewer than six James Bond-style high-speed amphibious cars, which he is able to drive across both sand and water.
Dave March, the USA-based inventor of the special cars, has claimed that he has was asked about this and that the Dubai Crown Prince has laid down a deposit to purchase six of his fastest vehicle.
March, who is the owner of WaterCar, has been designing and building and testing amphibious motors for more than ten years and secured the Guinness World Record for the fastest amphibious car in 2010.
His most recent model, the Python, has a 450-horsepower Corvette engine and can achieve top speeds of 60mph on water. The Python is on sale for around $135,000 and according to Arabianbusiness.com, Dubai residents will see six of these amazing cars very soon.
