Dubai Cares to build school in memory of Bangladeshi nanny

Dubai Cares is set to build a secondary school in Bangladesh in memory of a nanny, Sufia Akter, who passed away after saving four Emirati boys from drowning.

Dubai Cares has been campaigning with UAE Embassy in Bangladesh and the Embassy of Bangladesh in the UAE to honour her with a special education project.

The school will be built at Bhata Para, where Sufia was born and raised with her family. The construction of the new school will be complete in a year. The secondary school will be a one of its kind in the village, providing education to children, particularly young girls.
