Dubai Beaches and Parks to Offer Free WiFi
Beaches in Dubai will soon have free wifi!

The Dubai Municipality and du made an amazing announcement at yesterday's Gitex opening as both entities signed a Memorandum of Understanding to create so-called smart beaches and parks. Yes, that's right, soon you will be able to login to WiFi on the sand, relaxing at the park or chilling with your toes in the water.
The service will be available at beaches at public parks and beaches including Mamzar Beach, Jumeirah Beach Park, Creek Park and more. According to Emirtaes 24/7, seventeen sites in total will have free public WiFi in the initial phase which is scheduled to commence in six months.

A dedicated app will accompany the wifi introduction, offering visitors information about the areas, weather conditions and more information including fees and amenities on site.
We can't wait for the service to commence so nobody has an excuse anymore to stay at home at work - you can now do so while soaking up the sun!
