Tinchy Stryder, Zane Lowe and The Japanese Popstars to replace Dizzee Rascal at Sandance season-ender

It's bad news for Dizzee Rascal fans - the rapper has dropped out of 4 May's final Sandance of the season at Atlantis The Palm, where he was scheduled to perform. Dizzee is said to be still recovering from a minor operation and has been advised by doctors not to travel or perform, leading to his late withdrawal.

But there are new stars in place to make up for Dizzee's absence. Apart from Fatboy Slim, Travis and Morcheeba, additional headliners at Sandance now include UK rapper Tinchy Stryder (a top Dizzee rival on the UK grime scene), BBC Radio One presenter and DJ Zane Lowe and top electronic pop band The Japanese Popstars (who're in fact from Northern Ireland).

And all's not lost for Dizzee fans in Dubai either. With a fifth album due for release in September 2012, it's being hoped that he can reschedule his Sandance debut for later in the year.
