This year at Mövenpick Hotel Deira, expect to indulge in new signature packages whilst being treated to warm Swiss hospitality in the heart of cultural Dubai.

Mövenpick Hotel Deira invites Dubai residents and visitors alike to make reservations for their Christmas feasts and Christmas-to-go throughout the month of December, up until the hotel’s New Year’s gala dinner, with a Times Square, New York theme on 31 December.

A range of tempting menus will be prepared by executive chef Gyula Harangi for guests to enjoy at Jigsaw Restaurant, as well as in the comfort of their own homes. 

Festive Dinning

Guests can enjoy an unforgettable Christmas Eve dinner with loved ones at Jigsaw Restaurant, as the hotel will be serving favourite Christmas dishes, combined with spectacular Christmas decorations and holiday lights, plus appearances by Santa Claus. Children aged six-12 will receive a 50% off for dinner, dinner packages will be at Dhs160 per person with non-alcoholic drinks and Dhs199 per person with selected house drinks.

Meanwhile, the Christmas Day brunch will host an outstanding buffet at Jigsaw Restaurant, along with Santa Claus and special entertainment for children, making it the perfect location for family gatherings and for guests to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon as they feast, drink and be merry. Children aged six-12 will enjoy a 50% off, whilst packages will be at Dhs180 with soft drinks and fresh juices and Dhs225 with unlimited house drinks.

The festivities will continue until Boxing Day, where the restaurant manager has handpicked a drinks selection and guests will be invited to dine for lunch or dinner on Boxing Day to enjoy an exclusive house drink and cocktail package for Dhs99 per person.


For those wishing to dine in the comfort of their homes, Mövenpick Hotel Deira’s executive chef, Gyula Harangi will prepare a roasted turkey or salmon for takeaway. Guests can expect a juicy turkey with all the trimmings and orange-sage stuffing, honeyed root vegetables, buttered Brussels sprouts, dauphinois potatoes and natural jus for five to six guests (2.5-3 kg) at Dhs340 or for 10 to 12 guests (5-6 kg) at Dhs680.

Alternatively, guests can order a whole baked salmon with roasted vegetables, baby potatoes and lemon-butter sauce for five to six guests (2-2.5 kg) at Dhs410 and for 10 to 12 guests (4-5 kg) at Dhs820. All orders should be made at least 48 hours in advance with full pre-payment and all takeaways must be picked up from 24 to 26 December between 10am and 7pm.

New Year’s Eve

Expect exquisite entertainment as DJ Ros plays all their favourite grooves, whilst enjoying an extravagant Big Apple themed buffet selection, filled with live stations. There’s something for everyone, even a separate kids’ private party all at Dhs365 per person, with unlimited house drinks and a glass of bubbly at midnight!
