Did Mel Gibson attack a female photographer?
A representative for Mel Gibson has denied allegations he struck a female photographer in his native Australia on Sunday, despite her accusations.
The Braveheart star was accused of launching into a verbal and physical attack on Kristi Miller as she took pictures of him leaving a cinema in Sydney with his girlfriend Rosalind Ross. Kristi told the Sydney Daily Telegraph she was "shoved" by Mel, adding: "He was just abusing me, spitting on me. Saying some real vile things... completely red in the face, out of control, literally didn't breathe."
However, a representative for Mel has since dismissed Kristi's account, writing in a statement: "Mr Gibson and his friend were being harassed by this photographer and he asked her repeatedly to stop, which she did not... There was never any physical contact whatsoever and the story being told by her is a complete fabrication of the truth."
If there was a camera involved, surely there must be some proof?
