Former Disney star Demi Lovato is not happy one bit with the ever controversial Lady Gaga and may have just started a new war on the pop scene.
The 21-year-old Heart Attack singer has criticised Lady Gaga for her vomit-filled performance at the South by Southwest festival in Texas on Thursday, insisting it was insensitive.
Lovato, who has struggled with bulimia for years, claims the Poker Face singer's idea to allow British artist Millie Brown to throw up all over her glamorises a disease that blights the lives of many young girls.
In an angry tweet Demi, who spent three months in rehab attempting to treat her self-harming issues, wrote, "Sad. As if we didn't have enough people glamorising eating disorders already. Putting the word Art in it isn't a free card to do whatever you want without consequences."
However, while Gaga hasn’t replied to the accusations yet, performance artist Brown defended her actions and said: “There’s a clear difference between using my body to create something beautiful, to express myself and feel powerful, rather than using it to punish myself and conform to society’s standards.”
