Harry Potter star keen on taking biographic role

Daniel Radcliffe, famous for his teenage role in the Harry Potter franchise, has put himself forward as a candidate to play the young Iggy Pop on the big screen. The actor confirmed his interest in impersonating the punk icon in a movie adaptation of Pop's life.

A big fan of punk music, the star who has taken on a few roles past Potter, including the lead in a horror movie called The Woman In Black admits, he'd relish portraying The Stooges frontman if the role was ever offered to him.

Radcliffe has proven his diversity in acting through his stints on Broadway, with an evident evolvement from his starter role in Harry Potter.
Can we imagine the sweet Brit as a punk rock legend? Well, we'll just have to wait and see whether he ever gets the role.
