Catch reproductions of the legend’s most famous paintings and machines at BurJuman

You don’t have to go to Italy to appreciate the genius that was Leonardo Da Vinci - just head to The Da Vinci Exhibition, which is currently on at BurJuman! Da Vinci was one of the true masters of the High Renaissance and celebrated as a painter, sculptor, architect, engineer, and scientist. At the exhibition, visitors can find out how truly multi-talented he was.

Dubai is the only Middle Eastern stop on the renowned travelling exhibition’s circuit and there’s a lot on offer for culture lovers. The exhibition, which is in collaboration with the Leonardo Da Vinci Museum in Florence, displays five themes: War Machines, Flying Machines, Nautical and Hydraulic Inventions, Principles of Mechanics and Artwork (Reproductions).

Visitors get to touch and handle over 60 machines created from original da Vinci drawings, including flying machines, architectural innovations and inventive war machines. Plus, there are explanatory notes and illustrative panels with Da Vinci’s drawings to accompany the models, which were constructed over a number of years by a team of Florentine artisans from the Niccolai Teknoart SNC (Firenze) group.

You’ll also be able to see high quality reproduction artworks of some of Da Vinci’s most famous paintings including the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper as well as giant art panels, computer animations, film screenings and rare copies of Leonardo da Vinci Codices (limited edition collections that reproduce the surviving manuscripts of his notes).

All you art lovers out there, plan a visit already!
