Crowd Chaos at Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix Pre-Race Concert
Jay Z helped fans get over a traumatic ordeal at the du Arena in Abu Dhabi on Friday (1 November) night as several people were left angry at the box office after being nearly crushed in the crowd at the F1 concert.
Hundreds of concert-goers were told to exchange their general admission ticket for a wristband in order to gain entry to the event, but security were overwhelmed by the huge numbers and struggled to maintain order.
After queuing for up to 60 minutes to get hold of wristbands, some members of the crowd began storming through metal barriers causing the people nearest to them to be crushed up against them. One concerned reveller was seen desperately pulling his two young children out of the carnage as the crowd became agitated at the long wait and congested conditions.
However, once inside the du Arena everyone’s tension was released as Jay Z put an magnanimous show that was definitely worth the wait.
