Cristiano Ronaldo: 'I will NOT be moving to Dubai'
At age 30, it’s no secret that Cristiano Ronaldo’s soccer career has reached its peak. However Cristiano has ruled out a potential end-of-career move to either Dubai, Qatar or the United States during a new interview.
The footballer denied that he was planning to follow in the footsteps of Xavi, who signed with Qatari club Al Sadd earlier this year, and finish his career outside of the European top leagues. “In my mind I want to finish in the top level,” he told Jonathan Ross. “I want to finish with dignity, so in a good club. It doesn’t mean that to go [to] USA or Qatar or Dubai is not good, but I don’t see myself [going there].”
Cristiano, who turns 31 next year, said he wants to play professionally for a few more years. “I have six or seven years left and I want to finish my career at the highest level, with dignity and in a great club,” he said.
At least come to the UAE on holiday then, Cristiano?
