According to a report in Gulf News, Dubai’s very own food truck park, called Last Exit, will be located in Jebel Ali at Exit 11, on Sheikh Zayed Road from Abu Dhabi to Dubai.
The newest addition to Dubai’s culinary scene is all set to open its doors by the end of this month.
Reportedly, at the location, a number of food trucks will be parked together, hosting food outlets with both dine-in and drive-through facilities and will be open 24/7.
The area will have a retro feel to it, with old automotive parts having been rehashed to serve as decoration, including road signs, engines, car rims and more. The food trucks will only be a part of this decor, as they will not be making use of their wheels to drive around the city.
The report added that the food on offer is from existing outlets in the city and includes Baja Fresh, Operation Falafel, Burger Pit, Big Smoke Burger, Il Cafe De Roma, Starbucks, The Brass, The Hot Dog Stand, Poco Loco, Clinton St Bakery, and Urban Seafood.
The area will also feature retail and convenience stores and a dedicated children’s play area.
