The team that has grown Huda Beauty into a global number one
Huda Beauty has developed from five years ago when the goal was to become the leading beauty blog in the region. When we introduced products, we then wanted to be the fastest-growing beauty brand and for many months we've been number one across the region, and we've gone global, with our products in the US with Sephora, and in the UK with Cult Beauty.
In the last 12 months, we've had some pretty amazing things happen at Huda Beauty. We became a completely independent company, operating without any additional distrubutors or partners, saw 300 per cent growth and got our own warehouse space, which we've had to triple within 12 months.
We've hired incredible staff. The team has grown from just four people a year ago to 22, and the synergy is really fun.
We recently hit 12 million followers on Instagram and became one of the top 60 accounts in the world and the number one for beauty, which was really important to us, and something that we'd worked really hard to achieve.
The secret to our success has been that we accept no other choice than to just go for it. We've decided to become global leaders in the world of beauty, so we constantly push ourselves and go outside of the box.
It's very rewarding to give women confidence in ways that they haven't had before and to feel like we're empowering them and lifting them up.
