Chris Brown Strikes Again with Offensive Tweet
Chris Brown is unsurprisingly in trouble again. The star took to Twitter to express his outlook on the recent Ebola outbreak, saying "I don't know...But I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control." It was no doubt that many individuals and charities were not impressed by the rappers statement which was followed by many angry and offended replies.
The Ebola outbreak was first reported in West Africa in March, this year, and has spread to other countries like USA and Spain. Jane Moyo, a spokeswoman for British charity Action Aid, has commented on Brown "thoughtless" tweets and urged him to make a donation to the fight against Ebola as a form of compensation.
She says, " This is a global emergency about three countries struggling with a deadly disease...This is obviously nothing to do with population control but is a serious, deadly situation. At the moment we do not need thoughtless phrases which reach out to Chris Brown's many followers...It was unfortunate that he said it in the first place. What would be fantastic is if Chris Brown could donate to a charity working on Ebola and encourage his followers to do the same."
Next time, maybe don't share your theories about the pandemic on Twitter.
