Chicken Livers with Pomegranate Sauce

Just a handful of ingredients make up this delicious mezze served at Al Nafoorah

Serves 2

Ingredients
120g chicken livers, properly cleaned
15ml corn oil
3g salt
3g white pepper
5g garlic, crushed
5ml lemon juice
5ml pomegranate syrup

Method
1. Heat the oil in a pan over a medium heat. Add the chicken livers and sauté until lightly browned. 2. Add the garlic, salt and pepper.
3. Add the lemon juice and pomegranate syrup and bring to the boil. Serve with a lemon wedge.
