Charlie Sheen is reportedly on the verge of landing a $25 million (Dhs91 million) windfall from his former Two and a Half Men bosses.

The Los Angeles Times reports the actor and producers at Warner Bros are close to settling their six-month legal battle, which began when Charlie was fired from the show for attacking series creator Chuck Lorre in the media.

Charlie has since been replaced by Ashton Kutcher.

The troubled actor had the last word this week when he shocked the Emmy Awards audience and viewers on Sunday (18 September) when he wished his former bosses and castmates a future of “great television” just before handing out the prize for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, which he quipped was his “old category”.
