Celebs Struck by Photobomb Fever
Hollywood celebs have enough to worry about when they’re posing for the paps – is their 'do in place, are they wardrobe malfunction-free, are their teeth bleached to perfection? But with T’Town’s latest craze – photobombing – they also have to worry about having their moment in the sun stolen by another star! Sneaking up behind (or in front!) of a fellow celeb when the photographers are snapping and the cameras are rolling has become a must-do at events. Biebs did it to Katy Perry, Michael Douglas targeted his wife and even James Bond managed a sneak attack. Check out Ahlan!’s fave photobombers!
Justin Bieber gained some major prankster points at the MTV Video Music Awards last year when he found a slice of photobomb heaven right between Katy Perry and then-hubby Russell Brand. Even Katy’s bubblegum-pink hair couldn’t outshine Biebs!
Three’s a Charm
You’ve got to have some mega confidence to dare photobomb these leading ladies! Michael Douglas found a way to steal the show from wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angelina Jolie at last year’s Golden Globes. Not an easy task, but it looks like Michael managed to leave them green with envy.
The moustachioed creeper lurking behind Taylor Swift is actually Daniel Craig! Did Taylor not recognise him with his facial fuzz, or is Daniel just so into photobombing that he always has a disguise at the ready?
You’d think Johnny Depp would have enough red carpet time, but no! At the press conference for Alice in Wonderland in Tokyo, he had to go and steal the attention from director Tim Burton too. Oh well, Tim doesn’t seem to notice that he’s playing hide and seek with an A-list celeb.
Baby bomb! It’s been one year since Kate Middleton and Prince William’s pint-sized bridesmaid Grace van Cutsem photobombed their celebratory smooch on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
At this year’s Golden Globes, Tina Fey sideways photobombed Amy Poehler during the presentation for best actress in a TV series. Amy didn’t win but she was part of the only photobomb honour of the night!
Not Without Nicole
Nicole Kidman photobombed a pretty powerful dame at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Awards earlier this year. Was Nic trying to draw the cameras away from Russell Crowe or just nab Meryl Streep’s moment in the sun? With that creepy smile, she succeeded in doing both!
Not all bombs happen from behind! At the Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol premiere, Simon Pegg decided not to bother with the stealth approach – he jumped right in front of the cameras so he could feel what it’s like to be Tom Cruise for a day. From the looks of things, it’s pretty fun to get papped Tom-style.
