Career: Rihanna found global fame the release of her third album, 2007’s Good Girl Gone Bad, which featured the hits Umbrella and Don’t Stop the Music. The album was nominated for nine Grammys, winning Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for Umbrella, which features Jay-Z. Her subsequent albums, Rated R and Loud were also hits. She has sold more than 15 million albums and 45 million singles, making her one of the best-selling artists of all time.
Relationships: Her relationship with Chris Brown ended in February 2009 when he left her with visible injuries after a domestic incident. He was sentenced to five years of probation, six months community service and one year of domestic violence counselling. She has since been linked to Usher, Matt Kemp and Ryan Philippe.
