Career: Although Gorgeous George started his acting career in 1978, he didn’t find fame until 1994, when he played Dr Doug Ross in the medical drama E.R. After leaving the show in 1999, he was cast in a series of leading roles in films including From Dusk till Dawn, One Fine Day, The Peacemaker and Batman & Robin. In 2001 he made Ocean’s Eleven, which spawned two sequels, Ocean’s Twelve and Ocean’s Thirteen. He made his directorial debut in 2002 with the film Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. In 2005 he co-wrote, produced, directed and starred in Good Night, and Good Luck, for which he received a Best Actor Oscar nomination. In the same year also won Best Supporting Actor for his role in Syriana. In 2009 he was nominated for an Oscar, a SAG Award, a BAFTA and a Golden Globe for his role in Up in the Air.
Relationships: George was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1999 to 2003 - and has vowed to never marry again. He has been linked to actress Kelly Preston, model Lisa Snowdon, cocktail waitress Sarah Larson and he’s been in a relationship with Italian model and actress Elisabetta Canalis since 2009.
