Career: Gavin has been the lead singer and songwriter for Bush since the early 1990s. Bush released their debut album, Sixteen Stone, in 1994 and became an overnight success in the US. Although they enjoyed only limited success in the UK, they were one of the best-selling rock bands of the 90s. In 2002 he formed the band Institute and also released his solo debut, Wanderlust. He has also appeared in several films including Zoolander, Mayor of Sunset Strip, Little Black Book and How to Rob a Bank.

Relationships: Gavin met Gwen Stefani, lead singer of No Doubt, in 1995. They married in 2002 and have two sons: Kingston James Rossdale, born 26th May 2006, and Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale, born 21st August 2008. In 2004, a paternity test revealed that he was the father of British model Daisy Lowe, following a brief liaison with her mother, singer and fashion designer Pearl Lowe, in the late 1980s. Until then he had always believed Daisy to be his goddaughter. In 2010 he admitted to having an affair with cross-dressing musician Marilyn during the 1980s.

FYI: Gavin co-wrote two songs, Fix Me and You, for Taylor Momsen’s band The Pretty Reckless
