Career: Elizabeth’s career began with small roles in TV shows Sex And The City and Without A Trace. She got her big break playing secretary Betty Branks in Spider-Man in 2002. She went onto play Dr Kim Briggs, Zach Braff’s love interest in TV comedy Scrubs, as well as Jack Donaghy’s wife, Avery Jessup, in 30 Rock. Other film credits include The 40-Year-Old-Virgin, Meet Bill, W, Definitely, Maybe and Zach And Miri Make A Porno.

Relationships: Elizabeth married producer Max Handleman on 5th July 2003. He had been her boyfriend since they met in college in 1992. On 30th March 2011, their son Felix was born via gestational surrogate after years of failed fertility treatment.
