Career: Charlie started his film career in 1984, with a role in the film Red Dawn. His first major role was in Platoon, followed by Wall Street and Born on the Fourth of July. He’s also appeared in several comedies, including The Major League and Hot Shots! films, as well as Scary Movie 3 and 4. In 2003 he was cast in TV comedy Two and a Half Men, but after enjoying great success in the role he was fired on 7 March 2011 following several months of erratic behaviour.
Relationships: Charlie has been married three times, first to Donna Peel from 1995-1996, and then to actress Denise Richards. He married Denise, who he met on the set of Good Advice, on 20th May 1998, and they have two daughters: Sam, born 9th March 2004, and Lola Rose, born 1st June 2005. In March 2005 Denise filed for divorce, accusing Charlie of alcohol and drug abuse and threats of violence. On 30th May 2008 he married actress Brooke Mueller, and their twin sons, Bob and Max, were born on 14th March 2009. He filed for divorce in November 2010 and started living with X-rated actress Bree Olsen and graphic designer Natalie Kenly who he called his “goddesses.”
