Catching Up with Kris Fade

Wow! That’s all I could say after I zip lined across the fountains next to Burj Khalifa on the #XLine. Some of you may have seen Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai earlier in the week be the first person to take part in the stunt. After I saw the video footage of him doing it I desperately wanted to have a go myself and the good folks at X Dubai got me involved.

I’m not gonna lie, the height was pretty scary and looking down over the fountains I did get extremely nervous, but there was no turning back once I’d been strapped in. Armed with my selfie stick I was launched across and captured the whole thing on film. Funnily enough I wasn’t expecting the fountains to be on and was hit in the face with a strong blast of water as I went through them.

Once I was back safely on the ground my first thought was “wow!” I really wanna do it again, and the team from X Dubai will be sticking around for another seven weeks so if you get the chance to try out the zipline, make sure you do! Thanks so much to X Dubai for setting up the #‎XLine. It’s truly one of the most amazing feelings I’ve ever had. Dubai, you’re truly special! The vision of not stopping and achieving everything is real!

Gordon Ramsey Minds his Mouth
So Chef Gordon Ramsey was in Dubai to launch his new restaurant Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, at Atlantis The Palm. The famously hot-headed celeb was surprisingly laidback and very cool when we met just two days before he opened the restaurant. He was really nice and very easy to talk to, but he was most sweet when he met my mum, Gilda. The two of them talked like they were old friends and he was so charming. He even promised not swear in front of her. What a guy!
