Fan of food? Fan of a good song and dance? Fan of Spanish flair? We have three words for you, Casa de Tapas. More specifically, Casa de Tapas’ fun, flavour-filled Friday brunch.

The stunning venue is home to a number of rustic Spanish keepsakes and, host to one of the liveliest and biggest brunches in town, thanks to its many live performances, excellent service and delicious spread which, you guessed it consists of tapas, paellas and more.

To give you an even better idea of what to expect, we’ve broken down every ingredient that makes this brunch a must-try.

The Ambiance

The staff are incredibly friendly and hands-on, making for a perfect, seamless experience. The flamenco dancers and live music will have you involuntarily swaying in your seat and tapping your feet (that is, until you give in and join them on the makeshift dancefloor). The two factors combined with stunning views of the Dubai Creek, make for an all-round merry experience.

The Food

With tapas in its name, you can rest assured that the venue is home to some of the juiciest, tastiest tapas known to man. Some of the scrumptious options include Patatas Bravas – a classic dish featuring cubes of spicy potatoes, served with spicy tomato sauce, Alitas de Pollo Crujientes – which are chicken wings glazed with Spanish crumbs and sizzled until crispy (it’s absolutely delicious), and Pulpo a Feira – fresh octopus (caught in the Atlantic, no less), served over crushed potatoes – yum.

Tapas aside, other must-try dishes include the paella – a traditional rice dish made with chicken, mussels, clams, prawns and squid. And, the many cheeses and salads such as the Ensaladilla Rusa – a potato salad served with tuna, carrots, pickles, garden peas and olives.

And, of course, no Spanish dining experience would be complete without a generous serving of churros. Drizzled with chocolate, the fried-dough pastry is a staple that you simply have to experience.

The Drinks

A certain fruit infused beverage comes to mind and, at Casa de Tapas, they do the much-loved drink absolute justice. Equally as good is the selection of house grape, hops and fresh juices.

The After Party

That’s right, friends. There’s an after party! Taking place at Cielo Lounge, the post brunch bonanza features live music spun by the venue’s resident DJs, gorgeous views of the sunset and special offers on drinks. Score.

Sold? Of course you are. Brunch starts at 12.30pm, don’t be late.
