Hip-hop sensation Cardi B has fired back at a Twitter troll for questioning her song writing skills.
The Bodak Yellow hitmaker was recently ranked at number seven on Billboard's list of the top Hot 100 songwriters of 2018, thanks to her ground-breaking year of chart smashes.
However, one critic decided to publicly pour scorn on Cardi's achievement, despite winning the Best Rap Album Grammy Award earlier this year for her debut release, Invasion of Privacy, on which she is credited as a writer on every track.
"I had it up to here with this BS NOW," the detractor wrote. "One thing that she got a Grammy but r u kidding me @billboard how tf is Cardi on this list and SHE DOESNT WRITE ANYTHING SHE ADMITTED TO HAVING A TEAM OF WRITERS SO HOW TF DID SHE MAKE TOP SONGWRITER #really #stupid this is a joke now."
The rant caught Cardi's attention and she didn't hesitate to school the troll on her work.
"Because I do write a lot of my s**t that’s the thing," she responded. "Yes just like every other artist I do have a couple writers that help with hooks but I wrote plenty of songs on my album specially my mixtape.”
The critic's original tweet has since been deleted, but not before it was picked up and posted on the Baller Alert site.
