Cara Delevingne Returns to Modelling with Saint Laurent
The model will be joining fashion icon Jane Birkin in the brand's new campaign
Model Cara Delevingne took a break from modelling last year to pursue a career in acting, appearing in the movie adaptation of John Green's Paper Town. Now, fashion's favourite eyebrows are back to posing infront of the camera, and we're giddy just looking at the photos.
Delevingne has joined none other than fashion icon Jane Birkin as a face of Saint Laurent. The 23-year-old Brit has posed for the fashion house's creative director Hedi Slimane for the brand's fall 2016 styles, dubbed La Collection de Paris.
The black-and-white images, which were posted on the brand's Twitter account, feature the sultry model-turned-actress in a heart-shaped fur coat, a black tuxedo, and a black, strapless sequined dress.
69-year-old Birkin is the face of Hedi's new Saint Laurent Le Smoking campaign. The veteran French star was photographed in the brand's iconic tuxedo at the Yves Saint Laurent Couture House in Paris.
Meanwhile, the new YSL campaign comes at a crucial point in Cara's career - she has just been immortalised in wax by artists at Madame Tussauds and her eerie lookalike was unveiled in London on 23 February as part of an exhibit dedicated to London Fashion Week. She will also be seen in the much-anticipated comic book blockbuster Suicide Squad this summer.
