 After capturing our heart and imagination as the sassy Charlie’s Angel, Hollywood star Cameron Diaz has established her foray in the world of shoe design and yet again she’s hot off the heels!

The starlet signed on as artistic director for the high-end brand Pour La Victorie in July 2013, and she is now releasing her first collection of functional-yet-fashionable high heels.

In a recent interview with the Something About Mary star spilled details regarding her inspiration behind the unique footwear line. “When I first started working on the Pour La Victoire shoe collection, the fashion at the time was really high, high platforms. It wasn’t something I was wearing necessarily because I already have so much height,” she revealed and continued “I’m such a stickler for shoes and function. And that’s what we are getting back to with this line- function.”

While the talented actress has spent years building up her confidence in front of the camera, she has also proven her multi-faceted abilities behind the same, and become an asset to the designer brand’s coveted team.

Reportedly, Diaz has completely immersed herself in the design and merchandising process, using her unique perspective and keen editorial eye to enhance the company’s standing with in the footwear business.

Priced at starting value of Dhs900 per pair, the 41-year-old star, says she wants her inaugural shoe collection to represent something “fashionable without being too pricey.”

Although the name of the starry line remains undisclosed, Diaz’s functional footwear collection will be available for purchase at this fall.
