The pregnant singer has bowed out of her headline slot at the music festival
She was set to headline this year’s popular music festival Coachella, but pregnant has cancelled her performance, leaving fans devastated.
The Formation hit maker, who recently announced that she is expecting twins, was set to take to the stage at the celeb-loved music extravaganza, which takes place over two consecutive weekends in April. However, though she put her baby belly on display during a show-stopping performance at the Grammy Awards on 12 February, she won’t be repeating the same at Coachella, citing doctor’s orders as the reason behind her cancellation.
A statement from concert said: "Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.”
Her replacement has yet to be announced but fans can look forward to seeing Queen B next year, as she’s already been lined up as headliner for the 2018 festival.
She’s kept her bump under wraps for months and has yet to officially reveal that she is expecting a child with boyfriend Liam Payne. However, British pop star Cheryl let her massive bump do all the talking as she proudly posed for her only official maternity shot. Wearing a skin-tight black dress, Cheryl posed alongside other famous faces such as Helen Mirren for the L'Oreal campaign shot, which was a collaboration with the Prince’s Trust charity. And judging from the size of her bump, Cheryl and Liam’s little one is due any day!
Red Carpet Bump
George Clooney’s wife Amal is known as much for her fashion flair as her impressive law career, and she doesn’t appear to be slowing down on either counts during her first pregnancy.
Making her first public appearance since it was revealed that she and her 53-year-old A-list husband are expecting twins, the 39-year-old walked the red carpet at the Cesar Awards in Paris in a figure-hugging Atelier Versace dress that showcased her growing midsection. The pair, who married in 2015, are set to welcome their twins – a boy and a girl – in summer and of the birth, Gravity actor George has said: “We are really happy and excited. It's going to be an adventure. We've sort of embraced it all with arms wide open.”
