The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort Abu Dhabi will welcome Louis Roederer bubbly to town for a one off evening of food and fun on 19 March. The event, hosted by 55 & 5th, The Grill, is designed to introduce guests to various sparkling beverages by Charles Fournier, export director of Louis Roederer. Places are limited for the event, which starts with a cocktail reception and is followed by a six-course meal and a speech by Monsieur Fournier. Each course will be paired with either a top-notch bubbly or a premier grape. And, if the food’s starting to sound like the poor relation at this party, think again. Treats include osetra caviar, layered wagyu crudo with spring garden garnishes, seared scallops with acquerello rice, brioche and black truffle crusted turbot, and braised lamb ravioli with hay smoked saddle, liquid black forest, and fourme d ambert with candied walnuts, grapes, apple, celery root and leaves. Yes, please.
