Pearls & Caviar is a contemporary seafood restaurant that combines Mediterranean flavours to create extraordinary, modernised traditional dishes. On Fridays the restaurant hosts Brunner, a brunch serving hot seafood and steak grills and a live sushi station. Kick-off the afternoon with a mint mojito and Loch Fyne oysters fresh from Scotland, and sample the ocean’s delicacies while listening to the resident DJ’s smooth tunes.
Recently, Pearls & Caviar has a appointed a new French chef, Cyril Calmet, who has reinvented the menu, adding innovative creations and favourite gastronomic classics such as red mullet, seared foie gras and Tsarskaya oysters.
Situated on the waterfront of the Shangri-La Hotel, make sure you ask for a terrace seat for stunning views of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. After brunch, head upstairs to the Pearls Bar – a starlit open-air venue with live music and bartenders who serve fine vinos and signature cocktails.
