The turbulent life of Bruce Jenner continued yesterday when the star was involved in a multi-car crash which left one woman dead in Malibu, California on Saturday.
Kim Kardashian's stepfather was traveling on the Pacific Coast Highway just after noon when his Escalade collided with other vehicles which had crashed on the road. One woman died in the four-car pile-up, while seven other people suffered minor to moderate injuries, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department official Art Marrujo.
Jenner's publicist, Alan Nierob, has confirmed the former athlete was not among those hurt in the incident. An eyewitness tells People.com: "Bruce seemed physically OK after the accident, but he acted extremely concerned about the other people involved. Bruce walked around the accident scene without obvious injuries, but his car was damaged. He did not cause the accident and was instead involved in a chain reaction."
The news emerges amid ongoing speculation that Jenner, who won gold in the decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Canada, is in the process of a personal change.
