Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller has entered an outpatient drug rehab programme to battle her drug problems.
Brooke was taken into custody on suspicion of third degree assault and drug possession following a fight at a nightclub in Colorado on 2 December 2011. She was also booked on possession of drugs with intent to distribute.
The troubled reality TV star protested her innocence and said that she would fight the charges, but she's now getting help for her substance abuse. She’s signed up for a rigorous outpatient treatment plan, which will allow her to juggle her parenting duties with twin boys Bob and Max.
Brooke’s representative, Steve Honig, told TMZ.com that she will check into the undisclosed facility during the day and upon leaving, she'll remain under "expert supervision 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week".
Brooke will also submit to random drug testing to aid in her recovery. "Brooke has requested to be tested on a daily basis for cocaine and other illegal substances so there is no doubt as to her commitment," Honig added.
