Pop singer and actress Britney Spears has celebrated the success of her single Make Me by sharing a sizzling dance clip with her followers.
To commemorate the slow pop jam reaching number one on the iTunes Singles Chart, the Toxic singer posted a 50 second video on her Twitter account tagged with #MakeMe move.
In the video, Britney dances enthusiastically to her mellow track featuring rapper G Eazy in pink shorts and a matching top. The song, which she herself describes as “sensational,” took the top spot from Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop The Feeling within hours of its release.
The single is part of Britney’s untitled ninth album, which will be her first release since her eponymous album Britney Jean in 2013 and her first appearance on the music scene since her collaboration with Iggy Azalea in 2015.
The singer first unveiled her album in June 2016 in a discussion about her career. She felt it was important for her to continue making music and to follow her calling as a performer.
“It's very exciting,” Britney Spears told E! News. “I've been working on this project for a year and a half now—almost two years—so it really means a lot to me… It's my baby.”
A release date for her album has not been announced as of yet.
