176 Children Have Been Evacuated From A UAE School Fire
The UAE's Ministry of Education has confirmed that a fire broke out in a Ras Al Khaimah school this morning (Monday 7 May).
According to the ministry, 176 students were safely evacuated by the RAK Civil Defence this morning, in the Dahan district.
The Ministry of Education has also confirmed all students and staff members were safe.
"All the 176 little children, 20 teachers, five cleaners and two watchmen were safely and quickly evacuated while investigations are on to identify the reason behind the fire," Col. Ali Al Mahbubi, deputy director of the RAK Civil Defence, has said of the incident.
