Eternal hearthrob Brad Pitt will star in and produce The Big Short... but that's not all!
The financial drama will also stars Christian Bale and Ryan Gosling! Swoon.
The movie is another adaptation of a Michael Lewis nonfiction book, and after the success of Moneyball, it's no surprise that the 51-year-old actor wants to join the cast.
Adam McKay, the director of Anchorman, has been developing this drama for a while, basing it on The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine, a book about several key people who made millions after creating a toxic credit bubble that led to the global economic meltdown between 2007 and 2010.
Yes, we're all very excited about the film and we're sure it's going to be very Oscar worthy and what not, but we're stupidly giddy about seeing some of the hottest men in Hollywood together on the same screen!
Hopefully, there will be a scene that involves swimwear, baby oil and lots of slow motion running with all three stars! Also, we wouldn't mind Chris Hemsworth and Bradley Cooper being given small parts too.
Adam McKay will both write and direct the upcoming film and is believed to be looking for a group of big-time movie stars to fill the film's main roles. However, there is not any indication as of yet on which parts each star already signed up will play.
Brad and DeDe Gardner want to produce the film, which is backed by Paramount studios, under the actor's Plan B company.
Brad was last seen smouldering in Fury and has since worked on By The Sea with his wife, Angelina Jolie, as both actor and director. Christian is currently on screen playing Moses in Exodus, whilst Ryan has just finished flexing his muscles alongside Russell Crowe for the thriller, The Nice Guys.
No start date has been confirmed for The Big Short as of yet.
