Last week we reported that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s marriage is rocky, and now it seems problems are really taking a toll on Brad.
After Ange’s complaints about wanting to leave the US and have a life of her own, away from Brad’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, Brad has finally snapped.
“I think happiness is overrated. Sometimes you’re happy, sometimes you’re not,” he ranted.
“There’s too much pressure to be happy. I don’t give a s**t. I know I will be happy sometimes and I won’t be at times.”
The actor, 47, revealed that when he turns 50 he will quit acting in pursuit of peace, giving himself “three years” limit in the limelight. Sources say he finds fame disconcerting and hopes the move will sort out problems in his personal life.
“Being at peace is more of a goal for myself,” he admitted. As for his future career, he may head behind the camera and try his hand at directing. He said, “I’ve really enjoyed the producerial [sic] side and getting stories to the plate that may have had a harder time otherwise.”
Brad Pitt has received two Academy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations for his acting, his most famous films being Ocean’s Eleven, Fight Club and Twelve Monkeys. He has also been described as one of the world’s most attractive men.
We will be sad to no longer see Brad’s gorgeous face on the big screen but if he thinks removing himself from the leading man position will hide him from the spotlight he’s got another thing coming. Last week we revealed that Ange wants to throw herself into her career next year which means more press and more premieres...
Poor Brad, you just can’t win can you!
