17, the
boy band that sold over 20 million records worldwide, will perform a one-off
Nineties-inspired Christmas gig in McGettigan’s at the Bonnington Jumeirah Lakes Towers on
16 December. We're shocked at how pleased we are about this.

17 were formed in 1991 by front man Tony Mortimer in Walthamstow, London. The
original line up consisted of Tony Mortimer, Brian Harvey, John Hendy and Terry
Coldwell and they enjoyed massive chart success in their decade with hits such as
House of Love, Let it Rain, It’s Alright and If You Ever featuring Gabrielle.
East 17 shot to fame with the release of Stay Another Day, which became one of
the biggest-selling Christmas anthems of all time and stayed at the number 1
spot in the UK and Ireland singles charts for five weeks in 1994!

band have had their differences over the past few years but have reformed with
original members Tony Mortimer, John Hendy and Terry Coldwell and are touring
