If you didn’t make it to David Haye’s record attempt for the world’s largest boxing lesson on 21 June 2014, make sure you’re there when the former boxing champion gives it another go in 2015!
David Haye’s charity-driven bid was 130 participants short of breaking the current record of 498, but he said the crowds’ enthusiasm made him eager to try again next year.
“Boxing is about taking punches and handing them out - you need to roll with it,” David said. “We’ll do that and come back stronger for the rematch. The participants were great and the energy in the crowd was electric.”
Although he didn’t break the world record, David said that he also hoped to encourage Dubai residents to live a healthy lifestyle and inform them about boxing as a form of exercise – two goals he said the session did achieve.
