I think the love and acceptance shown for both our restaurant concepts, Tresind and Carnival by Tresind, with multiple awards and high ratings on various platforms, is my biggest achievement in the last 12 months, especially given that Dubai is such a competitive market and these two brands are home-grown.
By creating something unique, we’ve found success. We’ve not taken a conventional approach to Indian food, we’ve used molecular gastronomy to showcase a range of Indian cuisine.
The biggest lesson that I’ve learnt in life and business is that hard work, dedication and patience pays. When I left home I only had about $200, now 23 years later, I’m running successful businesses in multiple countries around the world.
My late father, Shree Prem Nath, has been my inspiration. His ideals and values keep me motivated to achieve more in life. He always encouraged me to listen to every opinion and then make an informed decision for every situation.
