Ministry of Sound
Ibiza Sessions 2012
The annual two-disc compilation is back, featuring artists and DJs such as Sasha, Mark Knight and Sébastien Léger. It’s available on iTunes and is guaranteed to get you busting a move!

Linkin Park
Living Things
Linkin Park promised to go back to their roots on their long-awaited fifth album and they’ve succeeded. Expect a mix of classic rock and nu metal and even a collaboration with Owen Pallett.

Hot Chip
In Our Heads
The British electro-pop band is famed for its eccentric look and infectious dance beats, and this album is even more upbeat and catchy than the last. We’ll be putting this on our iPods.

Usher
Looking 4 Myself
Although we’re not a fan of the text-speak in the title of this album, we were intrigued by it. Usher always wears his heart on his sleeve with his music, so as usual it’s full of juicy goss!

Cheryl Cole
A Million Lights
She may not be a live performance pro, but she does make a catchy studio album. If the success of the first released single, Call My Name, is anything to go by then this will be huge!

Nelly Furtado
The Spirit indestructible
Her first album since 2009 goes back to Nelly’s roots, picking up a similar sound to her debut album but with strong urban and reggae influences.

Cypress Hill, Rusko
Cypress x Rusko
Dubstep producer Rusko and Cypress Hill joined forces over a love of bass to create this EP which contains five tracks, including their recent single Can’t Keep Me Down.

Coming Soon…

It may be holiday season but that doesn’t mean record companies are taking a break from wowing our eardrums.

Wiz Khalifa, O.N.I.F.C.
O.N.I.F.C. is an acronym for ‘Only N**** in First Class’, or on the edited version, ‘One Night in First Class’. It’s the second studio album from American hip hop artist Wiz Khalifa, who visited Dubai earlier this year!
Release date: 28 August

Bloc Party, Four
The fourth album from the Brit band was produced in collaboration with Alex Newport, a Grammy-nominated producer/mixer who’s worked with Death Cab for Cutie and The Mars Volta.
Release date: 20 August

Blur, Blur 21
This release celebrates the 21st anniversary of the band’s first album, Leisure. Blur 21 is a CD, DVD and vinyl box set encompassing the majority of music made by Blur over the past two decades – a sure collector’s item.
Release date: 30 July
