Elizabeth Banks and Emma Stone channel gorgeous style

Elizabeth Banks
Well done, Liz. Much respect for this totally age-appropriate knee-skimming Elie Saab shift. We wouldn’t ordinarily approve of sequin, or such a high neck, but you’re rocking it. Nice, simple hair and bang-on accessories too.

Emma Stone
OK, we’re going to overlook the makeup. Maybe it was dark when she left the house? But we’re loving this Gucci gown on blonde Emma. Especially the daring neckline.

Zooey Deschanel
Classic curls, simple pumps and one very pretty Óscar de la Renta prom dress. This frock could so easily have been a disaster had less of a style maven got her mits on it. Congrats, Zooey, you’re the prom queen.

Olivia Munn
OMG, we love this dress. Simple, aside from the lovely lace trim, and accessorised with nothing but a pair of simple gold hoops, a cute cuff and smug smile. Darn her.

Salma Hayek
It can’t be easy to dress front bumps like hers, especially in sparkles, but Salma’s making this gorgeous green number work. Sleek hair and  low-key accessories are the secret.

Denise Richards
Our Den’s no stranger to a fashion faux pas but she’s really nailed it with this petrol blue sequin number. We don’t love the shoes but the hair and makeup, combined with the modest hemline, show real progress. Keep up the good work!

Penélope Cruz
Penny always looks pretty amazeballs – it’s tricky not to with a face like that – but she’s really pulled it out of the bag with this Emilio Pucci number. A lesson in how to wear lace.
