It's nearly Feb, and we can't wait - or should that be weight? - for the Dubai Food Festival. The event announcements are piling in thick and fast now, and one that has definitely caught out eye is the return of the Beach Canteen on Jumeriah's Kite Beach. Imagine if some of the most-loved eateries in Dubai were shipwrecked on a beach with nothing more than a collection of shipping containers to operate out of; that's what it's going to be like.

Spill the Bean - The 100% Organic and 100% Fair Trade independent specialty coffee shop from Sunset Mall.
Moti Roti - Pakistani street food par excellence with excess oil and spices removed for the ultimate ‘fast-fresh’ experience.
Kris Kros - The essence of the Americas, Mediterranean and Asia with a fresh, modern touch,
Shawerme - New-to-Dubai exponents of the ‘real Shawarma’.
JJ Chicken - Specialists in balanced and healthy charcoal chicken.
Rice Creamery - The creator of rice pudding in every flavour imaginable.
Mama Tani - An Emirati staple, who specialise in savoury, sweet and bespoke Khameers.
