Home grown French-inspired dining concept, Frioul Bistro de Luxe, opens its doors at the Souk Madinat Jumeirah today! Featuring classic dishes with a twist, the menu is focused on French Mediterranean cuisine with subtle inspirations from Italy; devised by executive head chef Brian Hughson at the helm, who has previously lent his expertise to the Dorchester collection in the UK and some of the world's most established dining establishments.

"We are delighted to bring our vision of South West France to Dubai. We feel that there is amazing scope to deepen the UAE's understanding of regional French cuisine and showcase a menu that is at once approachable and sophisticated," he said. "We are also extremely excited to be located in The Madinat, which is a well-established cultural and dining hub and look forward to our reception during this opening month."

The new eatery is actually a trifecta of lounge, bar and restaurant which is the brainchild of leading hospitality group Utopia, the same brand behind the eagerly anticipated Pacha Ibiza Dubai, which is also due to open its doors soon. Aiming to deliver an effortless vibe of casual chic straight from the shores of the South of France, the Frioul islands located off the coast of Marseilles in particular (hence the name), the menu features delights such as Bouillabaisse, Duck Magret with Baked Peaches and Raspberry Mille-Feuille which is available from lunch until late, while local and international Jazz musicians add to the ambience. We can't wait to try it out!
