A woman who was suing Emirates for lack of water has lost her court case

A woman who tried to sue Emirates Airline for a lack of water on a flight she was on, has lost her case.

The Australian, Lina Di Falco, 54, said that during her flight from Melbourne to Dubai, she fainted and injured her ankle, and said that her marriage had broken down as a result of her injury.

According to The National, Ms. Lina said:

“Because of the accident, I couldn’t be ... the wife that he married.”

She claimed to have asked for water about four times before getting up to go to the toilet and feeling sick, and her meal was served with only one glass of water.

The Emirates legal team have responded to this matter and commented that the aircraft had a water fountain for everyone to use when needed.

Needless to say, Ms. Di Falco now faces huge legal fees, around hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal expenses after Justice Jacinta Forbes came to the conclusion that Emirates has no responsibility whatsoever in this matter.
