Aussie Singer Tina Arena says G'Day Dubai!
Australian singing sensation Tina Arena is coming to Dubai!

Australian singing sensation Tina Arena will perform in Dubai as part of celebrations marking Australia Day.

The star, best known for her hits Chains and I Need Your Body, will be the headline act at G’Day Dubai, an annual event held in the emirate marking the Aussie national holiday.

Celebrations will tee off at sunrise with the Two-Man Scramble golf event at Emirates Hills golf course The Address Montgomerie Dubai, before the concert at celeb hot spot Clé Dubai, which will be preceded by a DJ set by Aussie talent Danny Faifai. The restaurant will offer a menu prepared specially for the gala performance by acclaimed Executive Chef Greg Malouf, who's from Melbourne and of Lebanese descent.

Proceedings will kick off with drinks at 7pm, followed by Danny Fai Fai's first set at 8pm, with Greg's dishes served at 8.30pm. Thirty minutes later, Danny will return to the decks, before Tina takes to the stage at 9.15pm.

G’Day Dubai is being organised jointly by Qantas Airways, the Australian Business Council Dubai (ABCD) and event management company Harte International. Now in its third year, the annual festivities bring together Australian companies and business people to build relationships and strengthen ties between Australia and the Gulf.

Rohan Garnett, Qantas Regional General Manager Middle East, Africa, India & South Asia, said: “Dubai is now a major hub for Qantas, providing a crucial link on our Kangaroo service between Australia and the United Kingdom.

“Our partnership with the Australian Business Council Dubai Council allows Qantas to build on our commitment to the region and provide a strong platform for growth, and we are very excited that one of Australia’s greatest singing exports, Tina Arena, will be joining us for our early celebrations to mark Australia Day.”
