From new restaurants to celeb chef demos, here's the Gourmet edit to Taste of Dubai 2014

The city's biggest food festival kicks off Thursday 13 March and we have the inside track on all the must-sees...

Chef's Theatre
See your favourite celeb chefs cooking live on stage, including Cakeboy Eric Lanlard and French cuisine expert Jean-Christophe Novelli. OSN Food Network chefs Jenny Morris, Reza Mahammad and Siba Mtongana have also joined the line-up, and will be conducting demos on all three days of the festival. Kenwood Cookery School
If you're a total novice in the kitchen or someone who fancies themself as the next food TV star, the onsite Kenwood Cookery School has a variety of cooking classes to suit any level of cooking skills. The very talented chefs heading up the classes come from Dubai's top eateries and hotels including The Act, Rivington Grill, Bice Ristorante, St. Tropez Bistro, Radisson Blu, Dubai Deira Creek, Fairmont The Palm and Magnolia Bakery.   

Beverage Theatre
It's all about food and drink at Taste of Dubai so head to MMI's dedicated space where you can sample a premier selection of grape in interactive tasting sessions and enjoy signature beverages from Italy, Japan, Mexico and America. 

2014's New Restaurants
This year, Taste of Dubai has added a load of new eateries to its impressive portfolio. For South American dishes, such as ceviche and Argentinean grills, visit The Act, Asado, Gaucho and Cafe Habana. If you fancy Arabic fare make sure to stop by at Burj Al Hamam, Almaz by Momo, Aseelah and Ewaan. If you're a fan of Asian cuisine, you can get your fill at La Porte des Indes, The China Club, Japengo Club, The Noodle House, Thiptara, Sonamu and PF Changs. For a variety of European-inspired dishes choose from St. Tropez Bistro, Bice Ristorante, Breakslow, Cafe Belge, Emporio Armani Caffe, Radisson Blu Dubai Deira Creek, Rivington Grill, Ruth's Chris Steak House and The Gramercy.
