Asia de Cuba is set to open its first restaurant in the Middle East at the prestigious St Regis Abu Dhabi. Set to open in January 2015, it’s located at the Nations Tower’s Beachfront on the Corniche, and is the UAE’s first outlet for what is widely regarded as one of the North America’s most iconic restaurants.

Asia de Cuba Abu Dhabi has been specially designed to blend a vibrant and upbeat atmosphere with an innovative menu. It features the eaterie’s signature modern Chino-Latino cuisine and is going to include distinct restaurant, lounge and beach club areas for its well-heeled clientele. The restaurant’s famed food is inspired by the Asian influence from Havana’s Chinatown on Cuban food and culture.

Diners can expect a menu packed full of intensely-flavoured and creatively prepared dishes, such as dumplings de enchilado de cangrejo, Cuban seafood stew, shrimp churros with coconut curry and cumin roasted lamb leg with maduros – yummy!

And if you’re expecting the surroundings to be as creative as the cuisine, you’ll be going to the right place! As well as the interior’s signature styling, the new Abu Dhabi location will be the first Asia de Cuba in the world to also feature an outdoor terrace and a beach area – perfect for those warm evenings enjoying sundowners by the sea.
