Ariana Grande Seeks Advice from Miley Cyrus
Ariana Grande turned to fellow pop star Miley Cyrus for comfort after she was accused of throwing tantrums and behaving like a "diva".
The Problem hitmaker has hit headlines in recent weeks amid multiple reports suggesting she has quite an attitude. Her life coach was reported to have resigned due to her "bad behaviour" and fans have grumbled that she was rude during a meet-and-greet session. Grande, who denied the claims, has now revealed she turned to Cyrus for support amid the negativity surrounding her.
She tells a British newspaper, "I was upset and I contacted Miley. I said, 'Miley, I'm so sad - what do I do? This isn't true. My heart is broken, I feel so bad'. She was like, 'Girl, don't even look at it. Just be happy that you're blessed. You have family and friends (that) love you, you have fans that love you who know what's true and what's not'. She added, 'It will blow over and tomorrow they'll be talking about something else.'"
Grande is adamant that the reason she faces such struggles in the industry is because she is a woman, adding, "If you see a woman working hard who is successful - who doesn't stop until she reaches her goal, who is strong and has wishes and dreams she wants to fulfil, and works hard every day - you label them a diva. But if you see a man doing that, you're like, 'He's incredible, he is an amazing businessman'."
Well, maybe people are being a little bit hard on the pop star but with more than one instance marking Ariana as a bit if a diva, we can't seem to shake the thought that there is a bit of truth behind it. And even if so, the biggest female music icons were all known as divas, right?
