Ariana Bundy's Latest Culinary Offering Ready for the UAE
Cookbook author Ariana Bundy will be bringing a taste of Persian cuisine to The Dubai Mall on 9 May when she jets into the UAE to sign copies of her latest recipe book Pomegranates and Roses.
Despite growing up in New York and London and training as a chef in Paris, Ariana Bundy's background and cooking style are deeply rooted in Persian soil. She has a wide breadth of experience – from being head pastry chef at the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles and cooking for stars such as Tom Hanks, Nicole Kidman, Brad Pitt, and Madonna, to being guest chef on various TV shows, including BBC's Good Food Live, Sky's Taste and Top Billing.
Her latest culinary offering Pomegranates and Roses: My Persian Family Recipes has been brewing since 2002, when she first began toying with the idea of a cookbook inspired by her roots to show Iranian cusine and culture. But it took 10 years to develop and she put the idea on hold while she wrote Sweet Alternatives, a cookbook dedicated to recipes for dairy, soy and gluten-free desserts.
